We have created this video for the Sacred Heart University Equestrian Team.
Sacred Heart University is a private Roman Catholic university located in Fairfield, Connecticut. Sacred Heart was the first Catholic university in the United States to be staffed by the laity.
Sacred Heart is the second-largest Catholic university in New England, behind Boston College, and offers more than 70 degree programs to over 8,500 students at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.
The University continues to experience dramatic growth in campus facilities and enrollment and has garnered recognition such as The Princeton Review’s Best 381 Colleges 2017, the Best 294 Business Schools 2017, as well as #41 on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Regional Colleges in the North and #92 on Bloomberg’s Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2016.
With over 30 years of equine experience, Tiffany Hajdasz took the reins of the Sacred Heart equestrian program prior to the 2010 season.
In 2012, the Pioneers won their first ever Hunt Seat Regional Title. The Hunt Seat squad also won Regional Championships in 2014 and 2015.
In 2015, the team made program history when both the Hunt Seat and Western squads won the Regional Title. It was the first for Western, which repeated as Regional champs in 2016.
Hajdasz has coached five riders to compete individually at the IHSA National Championship.
